I just don't understand this mentality. According to Wikipedia, Panther was released Oct. 24, 2003, which means it's less than 5 years old. I'm running WinXP on my laptop and Win2K on my desktop, which means that both of my OS's are older than five years old. It's ridiculous for Apple to release OS versions that are not backwardly compatible and for software vendors to design their apps such they they are incompatible with OS versions that are only 5 years old. -- David W.
