John was the owner of Vivace, Inc. which bought Coda Music Software
15-20 years ago. For some reason 1992 sticks in my head, but also 1988
does too. I can't remember whether he bought Coda before or after
Finale 1.0. He's held various titles over this time (CEO, President,
COO, Chairman...). I think he was President and CEO when I joined the
company in 1998.
He's essentially been a part of the company from the beginning.
