I have a jazz tune in two staves system.
The first (melody) is in 5+3 quarters, the second (bass) is in 3+3+2
quarters.
I have set the second stave to have independent time signature but the
problem is
in page layout, because I would want to set a different measure width
for the second staff
in order to fit with the first one, so the 5+3 could have the same
global width as the 3+3+2.
It seems that it is not possible to set different widths in a system, am
I right?
