Set the staff in question so that it has an Independent Key Signature
and set it manually to Gb, while turning off staff transposition. Do
this only at the end, if you need to be able to switch back and forth
from concert to transposed during the process.
I kind of understand why Simplify Key doesn't have any effect. Six
flats is pretty much as complex as six sharps, so there isn't any
advantage as far as the machine is concerned. Still, this should be
easier. Anyone have an alternate suggestion?
