I am not sure what you mean by large slurs, but if you mean highly
arched, you should set the max list to a very high value (mine is set to
500EVPUs and set the stretch value to 0%. This works most of the time.
I must say I have not noticed the apparently better wysiwyg in Fin2k9
for slurs. I still get slur which aren't the same on screen as they are
in printout. Especially slurs tips crashing into the stafflines are
really nasty and no better than before.
