If Finale's Score import isn't working for you on some files, you
might want to try Jan de Kloe's SipScoreToXML program. This is a
Windows program that converts Score files into MusicXML files, which
you can then import into Finale. Jan could probably answer your
question about the .ham files as well. His site is:

If that doesn't work well, but you have PDF files created from the
Score files, you could try using PDFtoMusic Pro to create MusicXML
files from the PDF files. I don't know how well this works with
Score-created files (if at all), but you can use the free trial before
purchase to see:

There is indeed a new beta version of Score released for Windows. But
as jef notes, early reviews have not been favorable. Most Score users
seem to be sticking to the DOS Score 4 for now.
