Hello all, I've been quietly paying maintenance fees on Finale for years, without having found the time to get over the learning curve. One of these days....
Is it possible to use Finale to scan a chart out of the Real Book, then generate a new chart in a different key? I'd expect to do some touch-up of the scanned chart, so not expecting it to be perfect. And I'm guessing the different fonts used in the different fake books would contribute to the scanning success. I suppose I could just learn Finale (finally) and re-enter the chart by hand, then transpose, but I was looking for an easy way out. The singer in our group is asking for other keys on Standards. And by the way, is there a way to search the archive for this list?
