I suspect that it might be due to a corrupted Preferences file, or
because I re-arranged the tool palette....but I am just groping
here.
I haven't experienced that particular problem, but re-arranging the
tool palette is sure to cause a well known bug to surface. Do try
deleting the preference file and restarting Finale (at least that
seems to me to be the first thing to try). As Hiro and I
recommended a couple of days ago, it is a good idea to keep an
extra copy or two of the preference file after you have rebuilt
your preferences, so you don't have to rebuild them yet another
time if Finale crashes again.
