[Finale] Collaboration Mac & PC

I use F2007 on a Mac (10.5.8) and a friend has just asked whether it's  
possible to collaborate on notation with him since he uses a PC.  He's  
willing to buy Finale.  My initial response, was:  "No it's just not  
practical",  He wanted me to find out how those of you that actually  
do this, manage to pull it off.  Anyone actually do Mac and PC  
collaboration?
