finale script can move / swap layers but not copy from one layer to
another? i've tried "copy layer 1 to 2" and "copy layer 1 to layer
2" but can't get it to work... also there is no way to strip notes of
a specific duration?
here is what i want to do, in selective measures within a region:
1) copy layer 1 to layer 2
2) strip grace notes from layer 1
3) strip everything but grace notes from layer 2
4) change layer 2 grace notes to real notes
5) apply tuplet 7 eights in 1 quarter (hide bracket and number) to
first note in layer 2
6) resize all notes layer 2 to 75%
7) enter the measure in layer 2
[8) here i will manually enter durations]
9) hide rests in layer 2
is this possible using finale script?
trying to set up (6) i ran the following, but get a crash every time i run it:
Change Note Size
type 75 near "Resize Notes To"

after fighting with this so far i'm not sure i understand how useful
finale script could be, i have iKeys as well...
