You have to make sure that you make these changes in your default
document. If you are using the Setup Wizard in Finale 2010, make sure
that the document with the chord suffix changes is in the Document
Styles folder, and that you choose it whenever you run the Setup Wizard.

Every time I have to start a new song, the suffixes are started
over again.
Also, the size of the chord characters doesn't get remembered either.
Those are set in the documents menu. How do I make those set by
default?
