Yes, I tried quitting and restarting Finale and also rebooted my computer. They had no effect.

When crazy things like that have happened in various applications over the years, I've found that often resolves the issue. Occasionally restarting the computer resolves the issue. Occasionally having to do a select-all, copy, and then paste into a new document is necessary. Sorry I don't have anything more specific to offer as suggestions. -- David H.
