a separate category may be overkill, you can leave them in misc category and define the 1st title positioning and make copies... as they say YMMV. keeping them in the tempo markings category would make them automatically break a MM rest (it would in most cases happen for other reasons between movements).

But if you mix with other types of expressions, how can you then benefit from the category feature?

For example: if you later decide to change the piece titles from 18pt to 16pt and to also lower the piece titles by 0,12 inches. By changing the category, it's a simple and quick operation that will immediately will affect all titles in the category (if the fonts and positioning are linked, of course). I can't see how that can be done if the titles are put in an existing category where other expressions also exist.

the equation for positioning the expression in the centre of the page would be, for a centre-aligned expression attached to the left barline:
  (page_margin_width / 2 ) - indent

e.g. if page margin is 10 and indent is 2, you want it aligned to 5: (10/2) -2 = 3 (R hor offset from L barline)

Positioning is also affected by the system scaling.

A rather quick way of getting the value without the need to calculate (if you can allow 1 or 2 pixels off-value) is to drag the 0-value expression handle on top of a page-centered text block handle. Then read the value in the Attachement dialog and undo the previous drag operation. Enter the value into the horizontal positioning for the category.
