I am attempting to make a sheet with both capo and non-capo chords. I have set
up a standard staff for notes and lyrics. This staff has the non-transposed,
non-capo chords. I have a second staff in which I hide everything except the
chords, and I copied the chords only from the first staff to this staff. So
far, so good.

(1) I know how to set the capo chord per individual chord using the Chord
Definition dialog box. Is there some sort of way of setting ALL the chords to
capo at, say, fret 1? I really can't imagine why I have to do it one chord at a
time. I thought there would be a way of saying that a whole staff would be
transposed. I tried that using Staff Attributes in Staff Transpositions, and
nothing happened. For some reason, the chords don't change with the
transposition. I also tried using the transpose under utilities, and same
thing: no effect on the chords. So, I'm back to setting the capo at fret 1 for
all the chords - one-by-one. Very tedious.
(2) I am capo-ing 1 fret, so the key sig essentially (for the guitarist,
anyway) goes from Eb to D. However, when I check the capo at one fret for a G
chord, it seems to want to transpose this to a Gb chord. In the key of D,
shouldn't it change to F#? Is there a way I can force this? I've tried messing
with "simplify key sigs" on other dialogs even though I didn't think it would
work, and it still didn't do anything.

I've just put up with a Tsunami alert in Hawaii. It's late at night, and I'm
proably not thinking straight anyway. Any ideas?

TIA
