While writing an arrangement for woodwind quintet, I decided to add Horn cue notes to the 4 parts that were resting. No problem... But when I was finally ready to print out my linked parts I noticed that Finale had added a treble clef symbol into the bassoon part. I realized that this was because the cued notes were written in treble clef. The problem is that Finale had put the treble clef symbol in the wrong place and would not allow me to remove it. It had also transposed the next measure of the bassoon part into treble clef. I went into Staff Attributes to change the clef...but bass clef was already selected.
I was able to fix things only by deleting the offending measure and then adding a measure and re-entering the notation I wanted.
I have seen this "bug" several times in other arrangements....I created my cue notes by using the Finale Plug-In that comes with the program. Is this a bug, or am I doing something incorrectly?
Any advice? Larry _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
