Hi everyone,

 

For those of you going to the 1st Annual JAZZ
EDUCATION NETWORK Convention in St. Louis next week, please consider attending
the premiere of my new composition for jazz ensemble, GOSTO IMPORTA! 

Jointly
commissioned by the USAF Noteables jazz ensemble of the Heartland of America
Band and the Metropolitan Area Youth Jazz Orchestra (MAYJO) of the University
of Nebraska at Omaha, this new work is a great example of an innovative
collaboration between a professional band and an educational ensemble.

 

The concert will feature Staff Sergeant Chris Hammiel from
the USAF Noteables performing with MAYJO on trumpet. Here is the gig
