Absolutely. Case in point: we're in rehearsal for our annual summer musical (The Pajama Game, 1954), and the string books are filled with pizz., arco, con sordino, and senza sordino markings that ARE NOT CANCELLED! We're having to make it up as we go along. (Which means my concertmaster is earning her no-pay!) And we had the same problem with modern engraved books for "Joseph" last summer, so it isn't just a case of a single sloppy copyist back in 1954!

Good copy, easy to read, but horrible page turns.
