[Finale] Re: Inaccurate PDFs

Finale 2011, Win.   I have a score with a series of straight lines moving  
across staffs diagonally and going through the middle of noteheads.  (It's  
to indicate a sweeping sine wave tone against which the fixed pitches  
produce audible interference beating.)  I have used the note mover tool so  
that the noteheads are centered around the lines.   In producing PDF  
files, most of the noteheads line up correctly with the lines, but perhaps  
20% are off target although the screen view was correct.  I cannot find a  
pattern to this behavior and have tried making the PDFs in several  
different ways (with Acrobat, with Free PDF, with Ghostscript via a PS  
file), with the same results each time. Is there a fix for this behavior  
or is the only possibility to edit the PDF image directly via Free Hand or  
some program of the sort?
