I have used Finale 2005 on Windows XP for several years. I do not have a MIDI keyboard for entry; I use Simple Entry and Speedy Entry with the computer keyboard. Today I tried to help a friend set up his Finale 2010, and got stuck on two items:
1. How do you delete empty measures? 2. How do you enter notes in Speedy Entry and get real notes instead of all rests? I seem to remember it has something to do with MIDI settings, is that right?
