If the audio has been recorded to a click. It will play back in time with the notation in Finale.
I record the audio in Digital Performer (any DAW would work) save it as a midifile open the midifile in Finale and import the audio. (The midifile contains the tempo information necessary to keep the audio in sync). You then add staves and write the orchestration.
