In an important orchestral score I'm currently working on, Finale has slowed to a crawl. The cause, it appears, is the INSANE multiplication of groups -- the file now contains literally THOUSANDS of duplicated groups. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there any quick way of deleting ALL groups on ALL systems (including on optimized systems)? Update Groups does not solve the problem, and may possibly make it worse. Also, any idea how I avoid this behavior in the future?
