I think that a chord with 6th and dominant 7th is no used in jazz. So a E dominant 7 chord with 13th is notated E13, (dominant 7 is implied). E7 (add. 13) or E7/13 is also possible. If 9th : E9 (add. 13) or E9/13. Dominant 7 is implied. Pierre

I need to indicate an E dominant 7 chord with the 6th (or if you prefer, 13th) added. None of the suffixes in the default list jumps out me as the right one. What should it be? _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
