Hi Craig, I do it by assigning a patch or channel in the playback tab of the expression designer for the expression that indicates the instrument being played, I think I always wind up switching to one of the perc channels (10, 26, etc.) for non-pitched insts. But then I can never seem to go back to a pitched inst, using a patch, so I need to figure out a channel that will work.
Hope that helps and is not too confusing. The process always seems to entail a slightly different solution, but that's the gist of it. I'd love to hear if anyone knows of something I'm missing.
