I do have the full Acrobat, but still getting poor resolution of the imported graphic (PDF in this case) when "saving as Adobe pdf". The only partial solution is what Brian suggested, to print to PS file or "Compile PostScrip listing" with Imported EPS only, but cannot get it to compile to a specific trim size of 9.5 x 12.66. As far as I know, there is no way to add a custom page size to "Compile PostScript listing" menu, and cannot figure out a way to add one in the "Save as PostScrip" from the Print menu. It always goes to default letter size. How do people make good pdfs with imported graphics on the Mac??? I've been doing this on the PC forever, but cannot get it to work on the Mac.
