Development has been slow but steady -- I had my students in a middle 
school music theory class download and use it three years ago and it was 
perfectly adequate for the projects they were working on then and it's 
only gotten better in the intervening years.

Amazing quality, especially for the price.

But, as Robert said, not a total replacement for Finale or Sibelius yet, 
although a number of people who would have been potential customers for 
Finale's PrintMusic over the past few years are finding it great for 
doing what they want to do.
