Hi Kim,

Checking "Simply Spelling" will take care of some of some cases -- probably not 
G#MA7 (and nor would I want it to), but possibly A#mi7, and definitely chord 
roots of E#, Fb, B# and Cb. 

Otherwise, if you want a different chord root you'll need to re-enter them.
