I'm wondering if this thread might be a clue in a problem I've been having in Finale 2012 for Mac: I get my score playing back reasonably well, with all the instruments sounding natural enough to create a good demo. However, when I convert to MP3 it sounds thin and long notes stutter like they're gasping for breath. Barely usable. Does anyone have any ideas what's going on? Why is there a disparity between playback and export to MP3?
