peter, darcy, thanks but this is for a template i am helping a business set up who has many different collaborators on their projects and it should be an "easy" solution. because of the number of people involved some might forget to insert instead of adding measures or something. also the text is supposed to be positioned on the page, not in relation to a measure: page size varies according to project but that wouldn't be a problem if the information could be aligned centre H and V.
