I would buy your argument if they were actually supporting 2014. They are not, and as a consequence, some users have decided they really can't use 2014. As a lesser of evils, I think I would upgrade to 2014 before I'd consider downgrading my OS. 2014 has its issues, but they are no worse than the issues in every other release as far as I can tell. They are just DIFFERENT issues.
