I can't find exact information, but the Apple error code -2 apparently has something to do with the audio engine.
I've never seen that error message, but I have often failed to create an audio file. Try saving the audio to a different directory, with a very short name (under 16 characters including the period and the suffix). If this doesn't help, then I would definitely contact tech support.
