Mentioned this to Brian Williams but should have included all. "Garritan sounds are somewhat harsh, but there is lots of tweeking you can do. One thing that I found helped a lot was recording the Finale file "dry" with Garritan, then loading that file into Garage Band and using that program for ambiance, master volume controls, etc.. Way better."
