On the staves which don't swing, have you any other expressions which you might have made as copies/edits to existing expressions? I ask because over the years of using Finale I've found that a lot of playback problems in my scores have resulted from my doing such things -- it's often easier to make a copy of a current expression and then simply edit the text and forget to check whether the original had any playback definition. -- David H.
