Hi Ryan, I asked the same question a little while ago – no one who saw the request at the time answered with exception of Gippo Mercoli who wrote:

If anyone who didn't see the question then or has had time to think about has a better suggestion, please describe! I tried this suggestion above – unsatisfactory. Also, if anyone has *good* suggestions for virtual instruments other than the bundled Garritan for guitar, I'd be into hearing about that – the Garritan sounds aren't good enough for a client.
