Thanks, Giz. Nice to have that article, and even nicer to have friends that might read it. I started a book ten or 15 years ago - got about 200 pages, let it sit for a while and re-read it. About a third of it is good, the rest self-indulgent claptrap. It’s a lot of work to write a good book, and I’d like to find a good editor to help organize it - to help me show how personal experiences relate to the history and culture of the time. Telling stories is relatively easy. Making them relevant is harder.
