Theoretically, you can turn OFF HP, and then apply it to selected passages using the Human Playback Plugin. In your case, you would apply it for a passage until the measure you don’t want it, then apply it to the passage starting AFTER the measure you didn’t want it. Finale doesn’t allow discontiguous passages to be selected, so you have to do it this way. Make sure you select the entire measure stack to apply the plugin.
I say “theoretically” because I have had bad luck with this. I don’t know why it doesn’t work for me. I’ll try again once I have 2014 up and running. It’s supposed to work when you have a piece switching from say, latin to swing.
