I'd like to indicate rhythm by just having the beams and the stems, but without note heads. It's a rhythm cue line in the drum set.
Is there a blank note-head slot that will retain the same spacing as if there were a note-head? All the blank characters I've chosen appear to be zero-width, and the stems all shift to the left.
