I think "Playback Effect" only affects the values that can be set in the 
articulation designer (i.e. duration, attack and velocity). Other 
effects like the fall/glissando are created elsewhere - usually in the 
human playback settings. For example you can switch off 
"Glissandi&bends" in the HP Custom Style settings, or set Glissandi to 
"Chromatic" instead of "Pitchbend" (or vice versa) which may sound a 
little better.

Or: if you don't want to affect all glissandi, simply use  a text 
expression instead of an articulation. It will not be detected by human 
playback.
