Thanks jef and all the others who have sent in their thoughts on this. But after my initial panic I managed to solve this one myself. I went to Document > Data check > Font Utilities and checked „Check Document Fonts against System Fonts“ and that did it. Weird … or maybe logical. I’m not sure which. But your suggestion probably would have worked too.
