Yes! Right click the blue bar showing the staff style, and choose “Define Staff 
Style.” When the box opens up, you will see a box checked on the right, partway 
down, called “Alternate Notation.” Click the box (not the check box, but the 
item itself.) A new dialogue box will open, where you can choose what will show 
and what will be hidden, and in what layers.

I generally hide everything in Layer 1, but allow everything to show in other 
layers, because that’s how I roll. Your kilometrage may vary.
