Finale only preserves groups in the part automatically when the staves are NOT named (for piano and organ, for example.) If you want a part with several staves in it like the group in the score, you will have to add them to a part manually and create the group IN the part. Fortunately, this is very easy. It happens with me with choral staves and percussion parts all the time.
