Finale mainly supports italic and bold as styles. Other styles,
especially when they are assigned on a non-english operating system, can
lead to problems. For example on German Windows you can't select "Dünn"
(Thin) or "Mittel" (Medium).

Sometimes it works to not select the font style, but type the font style
with the font name.
For example for "Maestro" with style "Wide", type "Maestro Wide"
although it may not appear in the font list.
But that doesn't work with "Dünn" and "Mittel" and probably it won't
work with Semibold either.

And probably there is even a difference between Windows and MacOS.

Best,
Jan
