I'm also distressed about the elimination of the Tempo Tool in the new
version, though I'm still on Fin2012c.  A few months ago I posed a question
that didn't get an answer, so I'll try again: does v25 include Edit Tempo in
the MIDI menu?  If so, you can pretty much do anything that the Tempo Tool
and JW Tempo can do.  Can a v25 user please take a look at the MIDI menu and
see?  Fingers crossed.

That's very good news indeed. Thank you! I'm a Mac user; still on  
Finale 2014d. Sooner or later would have to upgrade though. Probably  
sooner, with the availability of JW Tempo.
