Hoping there is help! After using the data check font utility to change Bill Duncan’s ChordSymbol and ChordSuffix fonts to the new versions called FPChordSymbol and FPChordSuffix in hundreds of files, the newly updated Finale 25 now changes them all back again and looks for the fonts by their original names, so I have to repeat the whole process for every file.
Is it possible that someone more savvy than I could build an AppleScript macro that would batch process files, or at least do it with one click instead of multiple clicks and mousings? Am I missing a simpler solution? Perhaps I can find older versions of the font and make them available to Finale. Ideas will be appreciated.
