Hi, I’m transcribing a piano piece for a string quartet. I have six staves. Four strings plus a grand staff in the bottom for the piano part, so I can just see it while I write the string parts, but both piano staves are muted In the Score Manager Window so they don’t sound in the playback. Now... this weird playback problem is driving me crazy: every now and then the Viola playback volume gets really low in the last written measure--whichever measure is the last written and the following one is empty. It gets so low I can’t hear it with the other strings. But if I enter a note in the subsequent measure the volume gets back to normal. However, to make things worse, even entering notes un the next measure I’m able to hear. Any ideas? I’v tried copying everything and pasting into a new file, but no luck. I also cleared MIDI data for the whole viola part. Thanks for any suggestions.
