I've had this happen before. It is a Finale bug. Your best bet (if still possible) is hit Undo until the lyrics are restored. Otherwise recover them from a backup copy.
To avoid jumpling your lyrics, never use the Copy/Paste function to copy lyrics. In my experience it always makes a copy of the syllable, thus jumbling your Lyrics window. I use my Mass Copy plugin to copy lyrics cleanly. It works both from staff to staff and document to document. On Mon, May 8, 2017 at 1:10 PM, Elizabeth R.
