Hey, List-ers…
Working on an arrangement in FinMac 25.02.0.79 with and twice have somehow
gotten bizarre playback behavior. I’m currently working in “Display in Concert
Pitch”. Everything was normal but suddenly playback of B-flat Clarinets, Horns
in F, and C Trumpets went haywire… Clarinets and Trumpets sounded down a step
and Horns sounded down a fifth (from the concert pitches). The only way I
could fix it was to
create new instruments
paste the old music into the new staves
delete the old instruments
Then, again, the same thing happened, with the same (successful) fix.
Everything’s behaving correctly now and I’m going to quit, shut down, and
restart, in hopes that that will reset something that’s gone off the straight
and narrow.
Any ideas in the collective wisdom what happened and what (if anything) I can
do to avoid it happening again???
