If there are tempo indications in the score, they take precedence over the tempo in the playback panel which shows on the main screen. Depending on the particular template you're using, sometimes people edit existing expressions to change what shows on the screen but they don't edit any playback effects, so something might not look like a tempo marking but it actually might be affecting the playback tempo. Those can be hard to find sometimes. You will need to edit those tempo markings to play at a different tempo or edit them so they don't affect playback or delete those markings. -- ***** David H.
