Finale 26, Windows 7.
I have a score with a change from 4/2 to 3/2, and I want to enter half-note = dotted whole note. I try to create the marking in the expressions dialogue box, but the list of notes to enter does not include any note value beyond the whole note. If I enter the whole note and type "period" for the dot, I get a period (instead of a dot). How can I get a dotted whole note in the expression dialogue box?
