Finger Lakes Permaculture Institute presents on the 2012 Green Buildings Open House tour.

This home and and its surrounding landscape serves as an educational space for the Finger Lakes Permaculture Institute. Permaculture teacher and Cayuta Sun designer Michael Burns will offer a short introduction to permaculture at 10 a.m. and 2 pm. as well as regular tours of the home's wind, solar and other energy systems. Tim Reap (http://www.ithacacarpenter.com/), the builder of the earth-bermed, double-walled, and highly-insulated home will be on site to answer questions.
