Course
Sirius Community, Shutesbury, Massachusetts
June 28 through July 19*
Were looking for one person as support staff throughout this 3-week
Permaculture Design Course and Practicum.
Qualifications:
• Design course certificate or equivalent experience
• Called to serve both staff and participants
In trade for room, board, and 3 weeks of engaged experience in permaculture
design + direct educational action, the Teacher Assistant's Role is:
• Help create ease during a very inspiring and exciting course
• Help meet student needs thru interface with Sirius community (event
coordinators & kitchen coordinators)
• Help set up and take down hands-on exercises
• Assist in communication amongst teaching team, host site, and participants
• Build community between participants, teaching team, and everyone at
Sirius Community
This is an awesome opportunity to hone your understanding of design process,
both in the physical landscape and as it applies to our human and
educational landscape. The design of the course itself is focused on
'permaculturalizing' the tradtional Permaculture Design Certification, and
is an awesome + fun example of permaculture principles in action.
